Please note: we teach without the use of wearable floation aids in all of our BFLF levels.
However, noodles, kickboards, pool buoys and alike are regulary used as teaching aids.*

Little Fish - Parent & Child Group Classes

For Little Ones aged 10 months - 20 months*

Guppies - Parents & Child Group Classes

For Little Ones aged 20 months to 3 years*

Aquatic skills practiced in Little Fish and Guppies will include –

Water familiarization & water confidence

Movement through water – kicking & paddling progressing to independent swimming

Submersion, breath control & floating amongst various other aquatic skills

Safe entries & exits

Water safety skills

Plenty of fun!

Aquatic skills practiced in Guppies can be more advanced depending on the water confidence and aquatic ability of your child.

Big Fish Levels - Instructor and Child Group Classes

Red Fish, Blue Fish, Yellow Fish, Green Fish, Purple Fish, Aqua Fish, Navy Fish progressing to our
BFLF Squad Team - The BFLF Comets.
Red Fish, Blue Fish, Yellow Fish & Green Transitional/Green Fish - Max. of 4 students per class

Purple Fish, Aqua Fish & Navy Fish (30 minute class) - Max. of 5 students per class
Purple Fish, Aqua Fish & Navy Fish Development Squads - Max. of 7 students per session
Comets (Bronze) - 1 hour Squad training session/s
Comets (Silver & Gold) - 1 &/or 1.5 hour Squad training session/s

Our Big Fish levels are for students 3 years and older.  Allocation and progression to each level will depend on the water confidence and aquatic ability of your child. The Swimming and Water Safety skills practiced in each level are on display at the pool, or a hard copy is available upon request. 

Certificates of Achievement will be awarded to your child on the completion of each level.

We also offer group Adult lessons and Semi-Private* & Private* Lessons (*subject to availability) for all age groups.
